‘Garna Hata’ reports Ex-Deputy Head of National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Anatoliy Shapovalov owns an estate in Kozyn village not far from Kyiv. His neighbors are Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, and Volodymyr Stelmakh, ex-head of NBU and Head of Supervisory Board of Privat Bank.
Anatoliy Shapoval was a deputy of Volodymyr Stelmakh when he leaded the National Bank of Ukraine. In 2002 – 2003 Mr. Shapoval occupied the post of JSC ‘Oschadbank’ (State owned bank). From July 2003 till February 2005 he was a Deputy Minister of Finance, from 2005 till 2010 he was again a deputy of Volodymyr Stelmakh, head of NBU. In 2010 Anatoliy Shapoval was fired based on his involvement in currency scam in NBU and refinancing of certain banks for a reward.
Anantoliy Shapoval’s son, Ihor Shapoval, has a land plot (98 ares) not far from father’s estate.
Besides, Ihor Shapoval owns an apartment in elite residential complex ‘Panorama on Pechersk’ (44a Zadniprovskogo Street) and house and land plot on 7a Borychiv Tik Street in Podil, historical district of Kyiv.
Neighbor land plot (on 7b Borychiv Tik Street) belongs to Igor’s mother and Anatoliy Shapoval’s wife, Tetyana Shapoval. She was a Chairman of Donetsk European Bank of Rational Financing (it was renamed to KSG Bank in 2013).
